Varieties: Merlot 100%.

Vinification: The selected bunches of grapes are left to dry for 60-75 days in a room with natural ventilation. Fermented spontaneously at a low temperature. Aged in wooden barrels for a minimum of 18 months.

Characteristics: deep red in colour, with purplish tints. On the nose, strong notes of red berries preserved in alcohol blend with hints of balsamic herbs and vanilla. In the mouth, it’s full and warming, with an elegant sweetness set off by the lightest of tannins.

Food Pairings: ideal as an after- dinner drink. Great with traditional northern Italian confectionery, as well as renowned mature or blue cheeses, served with fruit or vegetable chutneys.

Serving Temperature: 16-18°C.
