I.G.T. VENETO

Varieties: Merlot 100%.

Vinification: grapes left to dry for a number of weeks in a naturally ventilated environment; aged for 12 months in oak barrels.

Characteristics: deep red in colour with slight hints of purple. Intense bouquet, pleasantly herbaceous, with hints of blackberry, chocolate and vanilla. Nice softness in the mouth, with an intriguing final note of flint.

Food Pairings: flavourful pasta/rice dishes, boiled meats, red meats, game and mature cheeses.

Serving Temperature: 16-18°C.
